Connect Shopify POS to your accounting, inventory, loyalty, gift card, staff and delivery apps so sales are entered once and land everywhere they need to be.
Integrating Shopify POS means connecting the till to the systems that run the rest of your business: accounting software such as Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks, inventory and purchasing tools such as Stocky, Cin7 or Unleashed, a loyalty program, gift cards, staff scheduling and local delivery. SoloCommerce chooses the right app or connector for each, configures it, maps the fields, tests it with real transactions and documents the result.
Most retailers come to us because every sale is being typed into two or three other systems by hand. The aim of an integration project is that the sale is recorded once, at the POS, and the accounting, stock and customer records update from there.
This page is the overview of our Shopify POS Services for integrations. It sits alongside our Shopify POS Setup Services, which cover the store, locations and hardware the integrations plug into.
Daily sales summaries, GST, payouts and fees reconciled without re-keying.
Amaka posts a daily sales summary from Shopify into Xero, split by payment method, with GST and Shopify Payments fees recorded so payouts reconcile against your bank feed.
We connect Shopify to MYOB through a supported connector, map sales, GST and fees to the right accounts, and confirm the first week of summaries against Shopify reports.
QuickBooks Online receives daily summaries in the same way. We set the account mapping with your bookkeeper so nothing lands in suspense.
For every accounting integration we confirm three things before hand-over: GST is recorded on the correct sales, Shopify Payments fees are posted as an expense, and each payout matches a line in your bank feed.
Purchase orders, stock takes, transfers and multi-location stock.
Shopify's own purchasing app for POS Pro. Purchase orders, supplier records, stock takes and transfers between locations, all inside Shopify admin.
For retailers running wholesale and retail together, or with more than a few locations. We map products, locations and sales channels so Shopify POS sells against Cin7 stock.
Suited to retailers who also manufacture or assemble. We configure the Shopify connection so POS sales draw down Unleashed inventory and purchasing stays in one place.
If you run more than one store, read about Multi-Location Shopify POS Setup first, because location structure decides how any inventory app is mapped.
Points earned at the point of sale, redeemed online, and gift cards that work in both places.
Customers earn and redeem points at the POS and online from one balance. We configure the POS app, the earning rules and the staff prompt so points are applied at the point of sale without slowing the queue.
Shopify's built-in gift cards can be sold and redeemed at the POS and on your website with one shared balance. We set up physical card stock, the POS tile and the accounting treatment so liability is tracked correctly.
Choosing a program, setting the earning rules and rolling it out to staff are all part of the work, and we take you through each decision rather than handing you an app and leaving you to it.
Rostering, time clock and pickup scheduling that talk to the POS.
EasyTeam adds rosters, a time clock and sales-per-staff reporting to Shopify POS. We connect it to your staff list, set who can clock in where, and align it with the staff permissions and roles already set up in your POS.
Zapiet lets online customers choose a pickup location and time slot, or a local delivery window. We configure locations, cut-off times and slot limits, and make sure pickup orders appear at the right store's POS ready to be fulfilled.
Buy online pick up in store, ship from store, cross-location returns, saved carts, POS roles and richer multi-location inventory are POS Pro features. Several of the integrations above rely on them, so we confirm your plan per location before anything is connected.
Six steps, in the same order every time.
We list every system that touches a sale: accounting, inventory, loyalty, rostering, delivery. We note which are already connected, which are double-entered by hand, and which you want to replace.
Where Shopify has a native option, such as gift cards or Stocky, we use it. Where it does not, we pick a connector with a maintained Shopify app and an Australian GST setting.
Locations, tax codes, payment methods, product SKUs and account codes are mapped one at a time. This is where most integrations go wrong, so we do it with you rather than from a default.
We run sales, refunds, exchanges, gift card redemptions and split payments through the POS and check each one arrives correctly in the connected system.
You receive a written record of every connection, the field mapping, who owns each login, and what to check if a sync stops.
We walk your staff and your bookkeeper through the daily routine, then stay available while the first month of reconciliations goes through.
Two things we are asked for and decline, and why.
Stock levels change too often for a trigger-based tool to keep two systems honest. If you need inventory in two places, we use a purpose-built inventory app with a proper Shopify connection.
We do not connect Wix, Squarespace or other website builders to Shopify POS. The value of Shopify POS is one catalogue, one customer list and one stock count shared with your Shopify online store.
